Compiled datasheet — Rhin-O-Tuff HD6500

The Rhin-O-Tuff ONYX HD6500 is a 14-inch open-ended electric binding punch designed for mid- to high-volume commercial and corporate work. It uses a 2-bolt EZ Change system that allows the slide-out die to be removed and changed to vary the punching pattern.

The machine accepts dies for plastic comb, wire loop, plastic coil, VeloBind/GBC and 3-hole loose-leaf applications. Manufacturer documentation states a capacity of up to 40 sheets, or 80 pages, of 20 lb bond paper, with capacity depending on paper weight and punch pattern.

Features include an overload-triggered automatic reverse function to reduce jams, disengageable punch pins, paper-to-pin sight alignment, a preset paper stop guide, an EZ View chip tray and all-metal construction. Operation is by the standard foot pedal, with optional switch controls supported.
